SHOPPING LIST: September 9, 2011
This list is made using the serving sizes of this week's recipes. You may need to increase or decrease quantities of items based on your family.

Fruits  & veggies
  • shallots - 1
  • onions - 3
  • tomatoes - 6
  • jalapenos - 2
  • avocado - 1
  • whole mushrooms - 8 oz. pkg
  • green bell pepper - 1
  • shredded slaw mix - 2 cups
  • peaches - 2 medium
  • fresh thyme - 2 tsp
  • fresh basil - 30 large leaves
  • fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup
  • canned pineapple chunks - 16 oz.
Meats
  • center-cut boneless pork loin chops - 4 (4 oz. each)
  • outer skirt steak - 1-1/2 lbs.
  • skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - 1 lb.
  • bratwursts - 1 pkg
  • thin-sliced deli roast beef - 1/2 lb.
Bread & grains
  • bratwurst/sausage buns - 1 pkg
  • sub/hoagie rolls - 4
Dairy
  • sliced swiss cheese - 4 slices
  • shredded mozzarella cheese - 16 oz.
Misc.
  • coca-cola - 1/2 cup
  • teriyaki bottled sauce - 3/4 cup
  • pizza sauce - 1/4 to 1/2 cup
  • fresh made pizza dough* - 1 large pizza
*You can also use dough you make by hand or in a bread machine!
