MENU: April 27, 2012 (Kristie)
Who hasn't been in a cooking rut? Who hasn't wondered how many ways you can serve chicken and make it interesting to kids? Who hasn't endured the looks when something foreign appears on their plates? And when these moments coincide, who doesn't reach for the takeout menu or a bag of chips instead? Even with all the meals at our house, it happens here too. The only way to fix it is to forge ahead and try new foods with the hope that you will find a new go-to meal to keep you out of that rut and make everyone happy.

In this week's meal plan, I have included two of our go-to meals which are repeats on this blog. If they make everyone happy, why not serve them again and again? As always, there are some new ones for us too. Enjoy and be sure to let us know what became your go-to meals!

This week's meals in no particular order:
  • General Tso's chicken
  • Philly cheesesteaks
  • Oven-fried chicken thighs
  • Cheesy zucchini boats
  • North Carolina pork sandwiches
  • Teriyaki pork and pineapple skewers
  • Asparagus carbonara
