MENU: January 6, 2012 (Kristie)
Now that all the busy holiday schedules are done and the kids are back to school, I can get back into the normal swing of things. Back to quieter meals at home with a lot fewer people and hopefully, a lot more nutrition. While we all try to watch what we eat, moderation is really the key. With all of our recipes, you can substitute low fat, fat free, low sodium and sodium free items wherever you wish. Let us know how they taste too! This week is a back-to-regular-life menu where we have a bit more time to enjoy cooking....and there is room for 1 night of leftovers!This week's meals in no particular order:
- Melt-in-your-mouth tarragon chicken (slow cooker)
- BBQ pork sandwiches (slow cooker)
- Meatball melties
- Shrimp scampi
- Chicken and dumplings
- Veggie noodle stir-fry
